How is neonatal infection prevention evolving across Europe? Join the UENPS C2E2 webinar to learn what the NeoIPC-UENPS survey reveals

January 13, 2026

NeoIPC, in partnership with the Union of European Neonatal and Perinatal Societies (UENPS), will present the results of an international survey on Kangaroo Care and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) during a joint webinar on 5 March 2026, 13:00-14:00 CET.

The webinar, titled “Neonatal Infection Prevention in Europe: Findings from the NeoIPC–UENPS Survey”, will present key insights into current IPC practices across European NICUs and beyond, drawing on nearly 300 responses from NICU heads and staff, and covering a broad range of topics, including unit organisation, clinical practices, and technical aspects such as surveillance systems, feeding practices and equipment management.

This event is part of the UENPS C2E2 educational pathway (Communicate, Connect, Experience, Expand), a series of free webinars leading up to the UENPS 2026 Congress, which will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 26-30 May 2026. Participants who attend all four C2E2 webinars and complete the post-webinar surveys will be eligible for a prize draw offering a free Congress registration, participation in a hands-on workshop, and the opportunity to present a clinical case at the Congress.

Each C2E2 webinar is delivered by the same experts who will lead the workshop sessions at the Congress, creating a clear and continuous educational bridge between online and in-person learning in Bratislava.
